I'm back

I am back from a fantastic vacation to a temporarily tidy sewing room, 2 new Burdas, 2 Patrones, hundreds of blog posts and lots of torrential rain! I may not be commenting much while I catch up, but I hope not to miss anything and I hope too that there will be some sewing from me soon.

I visited Peru, the Galapagos Islands and a stop off in Vegas on the way back home, a lot of flying but totally worth it, truly the trip of a lifetime. Thank you all for the comments on the 1 yard dress, it got a couple of wears in Vegas!

    Welcome home! Now that is a wide variety of vacation stops in one trip...all sorts of stages of evolution:-)

    I'm insanely jealous! Oh what a wonderful sounding trip. Particularly the Galapagos Islands, they have always fascinated me. Hope you show us loads of pics.

    Wow your trips sounds amazing! I'm totally jealous - I've got a Biology/genetics degree and I've always wanted to visit the Galapagos.

    Sounds like an amazing trip! I hope we hear a little more about it. In Vegas anything truly goes for wardrobe. My most memorable was a couple where the woman was wearing metallic gold leggings and both were wearing those hiddy Ed Hardy faux tattoo flash shirts with lots of gold limning. They were just so shiny.

    Welcome home, sounds like it was a fabulous trip! We visited Peru (the Amazon and Machu Pichu) a couple years back and it was absolutely amazing.

    Did you stay at the Bellagio while in Vegas? Because it's a wonderful place to stay...or did you just visit the fountains? Glad you had a wonderful time!
