But I have been doing some sewing and some thinking about sewing so I thought I would share here, and take the time to do proper photos next week if I don't look too shattered!
BWOF 02/2006 113 Skirt
This pencil skirt is to go with the Rachel Comey knot blouse, it has some interesting design lines.
BWOF 07/2007 122 Top
I still need to finish the sleeves on this one, which is going to form the starting point for my Pattern Review mini wardrobe entry if I can get it all done in time.
Love the top - really interesting fabric and the top really shows it off. Skirt is interesting too. Burda has lots of nice pencil skirt variations.ReplyDelete
Enjoy the weekend!
Both of these pieces look awesome. This is what I miss from Burda - interesting details like a button and loop closure on the bottom of a skirt band. So interesting! Love the fabric from the top as well and can't wait to see them modeled.ReplyDelete
Skirt looks fabulous... but I can't wait to see how that blouse looks worn! The fabric and placement is a perfect match for the design.ReplyDelete
Great patterns. I love the style of that Burda skirt.ReplyDelete
Oh, that top is really stunning. I'm excited to see it on you when it's all finished. :)ReplyDelete

That top is a real statement piece. Fabulous way to start off a wardrobe. Have fun with Rugby weekend!ReplyDelete
I like the band and buttons on the hemline of the skirt. Very interesting. The top is unusual, and lovely, as well.ReplyDelete
